Tea Time Treasures
Welcome! My love for tea parties developed after I read Emilie Barnes’s book If Teacups Could Talk. After I read that book, my heart was stirred. As a wife and a mother of four, I craved a few minutes in the afternoon to be alone with God. I brought my Bible, journal, pen, and an old teacup to my quiet place. Instead of tea, I poured Coca-Cola, because I didn’t like tea. It wasn’t long before the Lord led me to create Tea Time Treasures as a ministry focused on speaking, teaching, and writing about biblical hospitality. Tea is a tool to touch the lives of women, regardless of age. Do you need ideas for tea parties or a few tried-and-true recipes? And let’s not forget the etiquette.
Seasoned Women
Now that I am over age 70, I think that qualifies me as a “Seasoned Woman.” But, I’m still waiting for the external sign–not wrinkles, but gray hair. I believe that my latter years can be my best years. It’s my desire to encourage others who are also at what might be called the “preparing for glory” phrase or “finishing well.” What is God’s purpose for my latter years?
